Ascott – “defining global living”, while quickly becoming a very serious accommodation player

If you have never heard of The Ascott Limited, then you will most certainly in the future, because it is the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator with about 22,000 operating serviced residence units in key cities of Asia Pacific, Europe and the Gulf region, as well as about 8,000 units which are under development, making a total of more than 29,000 units.

The company operates three brands that you may have heard of: Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, [all the logos are listed right] with its portfolio spanning over 70 cities across more than 20 countries, with 15 new cities in Ascott’s portfolio, where its serviced residences are being developed.

Amazingly, Ascott’s properties can be found in cities throughout the world, including London, Paris, Brussels, Berlin and Barcelona in Europe; Singapore, Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong in Asia; in Melbourne and Perth in Australia, with more reported to be coming on line and Bangalore and Chennai in India as well as Dubai, Doha and Manama in the Gulf region.
