Clive Palmer goes even more eccentric – dinosaurs at Palmer Coolum Resort!

If there was ever any doubt that Clive Palmer the billionaire owner of the Palmer Coolum Resort on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast was eccentric, then this has to be it.
After his various eccentric political announcements, followed by kicking Hyatt off his Coolum property, ending up in heavy litigation, he then announced he was building Titanic 2, he also started a vintage car museum and he has now launched this weekend at the Palmer Coolum Resort….wait for it,…….a dinosaur park.
A giant Tyrannosaurus Rex, left [picture credit, Megan Slade and Courier Mail] is the first of a number of Jurassic creatures to be installed – [yes this is a top resort!] as part of a dinosaur themed park being built.
I do wonder though how dinosaurs will mix in with the Australian PGA or a conference of accountants – interesting!
This first monster is 8.5m tall, 20m long and it apparently can sway its tail, open and close its mouth, moves its head, arms and claws and has a breathing stomach and blinking eyes!
What can I say except………….yes, true eccentricity!

Good on you Clive. Queensland needs more “eccentric” tourist attractions. How about grabbing the idea of a cruise ship terminal from the Gold Coast and dredge the Maroochydore River?
Is he for real? What a disappointment. Classic more money than sense. RIP gorgeous Hyatt Regency Coolum Resort.
