Global Achievers is the pre-eminent industry reward and recognition program for helloworld’s wholesale brands, incorporating Qantas Holidays, Viva! Holidays, Rail Tickets, Ready Rooms for Agents, the Cruise Team and Insider Journeys.
In partnership with Hawai’i Tourism Oceania, this year’s Global Achievers invitees will experience the magic of the Hawaiian Islands through a series of pre and post famil opportunities to Kaua’i, Maui, Hawai’i Island and O’ahu all culminating in Honolulu for a glittering gala event on 15th October 2016.
These itineraries, sponsored by Hawai’i Tourism Oceania, will showcase the extraordinary landscapes and the beauty of the neighbour islands before returning to Honolulu for 3 days and 2 nights of action packed fun and festivity.
Hawai’i Tourism Oceania says the 2016 Global Achievers will gain invaluable knowledge and enthusiasm for the destination that will enable them to easily identify and tailor a Hawaiian Islands experience to suit each client.
“These travel consultants are the first point of contact for many aspiring travellers wanting to visit the Hawaiian islands and we are thrilled that they will be able to visit to experience the destination first hand,” says Janaya Birse, Acting Country Manager of Hawai’i Tourism Oceania.
“The Hawaiian Islands offer a unique combination of experiences from snorkelling with manta rays and witnessing the glow of lava from an active volcano on Hawai’i, The Big Island, to hiking through canyons and rainforests on Kaua’i, taking a surf lesson on Waikiki Beach or indulging in local produce in Upcountry Maui. All of this coupled with both modern and ancient Hawaiian culture makes it a destination like no other,” added Janaya Birse.
In 2016 the 150 highest selling domestic and international travel consultants from across the travel industry for the wholesale brands will be joined by the 20 top sellers of The Cruise Team brand, making a total of 170 travel consultants invited to the prestigious Global Achievers event.
Award categories will again include the 500 Club, individual state winners, and the international consultant of the year for 2016. Cruise consultant of the year, will also be announced.
Fiona Dalton, GM Sales for the wholesale brands confirmed “announcing Hawai’i as the destination for Global Achievers has always been a dream of ours. To do it 7 months before the end of the financial year makes it even more valuable and gives every consultant the very best opportunity to make the Global Achievers team. So much of what we stand for in creating amazing holidays for all Australians can be found in Hawai’i and the itineraries will be designed to assist experienced consultants to experience a new side of Hawai’i they may not know. We are incredibly grateful for the support of Hawai’i Tourism Oceania and our accommodation partners, Starwood Hotels and Resorts for their involvement.”
