The 2016 Taipei International Auto Show will present key models, concept cars, and distinctive new technologies of each major car brand, including many performance sports cars and supercars, in an absolute visual feast for every car lover. BMW will showcase its latest BMW7 series of luxury cars with carbon fiber body structures, hand-motion control functions, and strikingly elegant shapes, representing leading indicators in the automobile industry. Ford will combine future mobility and interactivity to build an innovative technology experience zone for visitors. The road-legal Formula Ford racecar, powered by Ford’s newest 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine, will be introduced to visitors.
Another event highlight will be the Jaguar and Land Rover exhibitions. Jaguar’s F-Pace SUV/crossover sports car, which grabbed headlines at last September’s Frankfurt Motor Show by successfully running through the world’s largest, 19.08-meter-high loop-the-loop to set a new Guinness World Record, will be on display. Sharing the spotlight will be another record-setter, Land Rover’s Range Rover Sport SVR, the quickest production SUV in history that sped around the famous 12.9-mile Nurburgring Nordshleife loop, and also featured in the latest 007 film.
Following the Taipei show, Kaohsiung will host the 2016 Kaohsiung International Auto Show next January. Together, the two exhibitions will provide a high-level experience starring all major car brands from around the world.
