2016 Xiamen Mid-Autumn Carnival to Bring Month-long Festive Fun

On the evening of September 3, 2016, the Xiamen Mid-Autumn Festival carnival opened in Jimei, Xiamen.

Xiamen, China’s Mid-Autumn carnival is hosted by the Fujian Provincial Tourism Bureau and the Xiamen Municipal People’s Government. It is executed by Xiamen Tour International Travel Service Co., Ltd. and the Xiamen Asian-pacific Tourist Development Centre.

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 15th and China will have a holiday for three days.

A month-long celebration of the festival will be held at the 2016 Xiamen Mid-Autumn Carnival, an annual celebration that was voted the most popular cultural tourism festival in 2012 by Internet users. The event will be held from September 1st to 30th this year.
