2017/18 Ferris Wheel Dining Experience Season Tickets On Sale Now

After an exceptional 2016/17 season The Deck and Luna Park Sydney have once again joined forces to host the iconic Ferris Wheel Dining Experience from 15 October 2017 to 26 March 2018.

The award winning Ferris Wheel Dining has fast become one of Sydney’s most sought after dining experiences, taking guests on a three-course degustation journey around Luna Park’s iconic Ferris Wheel as the sun sets over Sydney Harbour.

With the evening starting at The Deck restaurant, guests enjoy a glass of Marc Bredif Brüt Vouvray NV and Amuse Bouche before stepping into a private dining carriage, shared with that special someone, and settle in with a glass of wine and delectable entrée platter to share. Enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House, Anzac Bridge and Sydney CBD as the Ferris Wheel slowly makes its way towards the next course.

For the main course, guests can take their time relishing one of the two mouth-watering options including twice cooked lamb shoulder with merguez sausage, heirloom carrot and caraway puree or pan seared kingfish fillet with grilled langoustine, caramelized endive, karkalla, vanilla and orange emulsion with Bottarga. Both accompanied with fingerling potatoes with truffle mayonnaise and a French E. Guigal Saint-Joseph Blanc 2013 or Italian Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva “Tenuta Tignanello” DOCG 2013.

Designed with lovers in mind, The Deck’s desert platter features indulgent baked white chocolate with salted caramel ganache and glazed pineapple; pistachio and strawberry dacquoise with raspberry gel and pistachio praline; coconut and passionfruit tart; and soft meringue topped with fresh berries. The Tasmanian Jansz Single Vineyard Vintage Chardonnay 2011 softly compliments the sweets as the final sheds of light disappear over the horizon.

With the night winding down but not yet over, step off the Ferris Wheel into The Deck Restaurant to enjoy tea, coffee and petit fours.
