Guests at 22 Ships will see Levi’s branded white and blue t-shirts on the backs of its talented service team. Each shirt has an old-fashioned food measure with a fully rigged, traditional sailing ship illustration located between the shoulder blades, acting as a special touch and note to the heritage of 22 Ships. The collaboration is part of its “Live in Levi’s” global marketing campaign and reinforces both brands’ good genes.
22 Ships and Levi’s have creativity built into their brand DNA – the modern tapas joint on Ship Street, Wan Chai, is the conception of entrepreneur Yenn Wong, founder of the JIA Group in collaboration with Michelin Star Chef Jason Atherton of London’s Pollen Street Social fame.
On selecting 22 Ships as a partner for their “Live in Levi’s” campaign, Head of Marketing, APD Neil Pryde said, “We are committed to celebrating authentic self-expression … more than 140 years after inventing the blue jeans we are again recognising originality – this time it is in other categories such as the modern tapas bar space in which 22 Ships is considered an innovator, we are looking for more possible collaboration with stylish yet creative parties in the future.”
