2nd eCommerce Expo Asia to Bolster Asian e-Commerce Market

The 2nd eCommerce Expo Asia, jointly organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Internet and E-Commerce Association (TIEA), will take place from the 5th to 7th of October at TWTC Exhibition Hall 1 in Taipei. This year’s Expo will unfold around four main categories: Big Data, Cross-Border Trade & e-Commerce, FinTech, and Startups. Renowned e-commerce companies from the U.S.A., Germany, Japan, France, Singapore, Malaysia, and China will be joining the event in a bid to showcase the strength and creativity of the global e-commerce industry.


Big-name exhibitors include the world’s second largest retail group OTTO OSP, Rakuten Japan, Appier, BeautiMode, Criteo, Momo, PChome, SPEX eShop, TeBuy, Twitter, and UITOX, among others. Major Taiwanese firms from export-oriented industries, finance, logistics, information technology, and retail sectors will take advantage of the event to interact with each other. Over 10,000 visitors are anticipated from home and abroad.

The Expo will feature two Asia eCommerce Forums, in which celebrities from the domestic and international e-Commerce scenes are invited to share with attendees their viewpoints and lead discussions on the future development of the industry. Also there are two e-Commerce Seminars for representatives from web-based companies to share the latest trends and innovative solutions for e-commerce. Additionally, the matchmaking activity eCommerce Business Day 2016 will be held during the show to generate more business opportunities for participants in the Asia-Pacific market.
