Since its formation in 1975, Contours Travel has supported community initiatives across Latin America. Through a partnership between Rotary clubs in Melbourne and Cuzco in Peru, a unique ‘Agua Pura’ (pure water) program has been developed in which Contours travellers on the ‘Treasures of South America’ tour are given a portable water purifier so they can deliver it personally and help install it in remote hamlets in the Peruvian Andes.

Two months after the Olympic Games, guests will also visit Rio’s iconic drawcards and spectacular Iguazu Falls, sample Chile’s legendary wine at a winery near Santiago and join a private tango lesson in Buenos Aires before watching the professionals dance at a dinner show. Optional extensions to the Galapagos Islands and Patagonia are also available.
