Novotel Sydney Parramatta has revealed a fresh new look this month, following the completion of an extensive $6.5 million upgrade program.

Commencing in May 2019, the renovation focussed entirely on guest rooms, and has transformed all 194-guest rooms and suites at the hotel.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta General Manager, Ben Murphy, said, “We’re truly excited to reveal our newly refurbished rooms, designed to bring a new level of comfort, convenience and sophistication to the heart of booming Western Sydney.

“While our overarching aim was to update each and every guest room in order to provide fresh and modern amenities, we also wanted to create an entirely different ambiance and experience for our guests from a wellbeing perspective. You may be in the heart of Parramatta, but the city’s hustle and bustle will feel like a distant memory once you step into these transformed guest rooms.”

Novotel worked in close partnership with interior design firm, Stack Studio, on its vision for the hotel’s rooms and suites, blending chic, urban style with plush textures and soothing colours to create a sense of restfulness and calm.

Expansive windows flood each space with natural light. In-room comforts include crisp new bed linens, soft spreads and desks illuminated by both natural and assisted light sources, favoured by business travellers.

“Cool and contemporary tones with modern decor provide an urban haven in our refurbished rooms, and we hope travellers are as happy with the result as we are,” added Mr Murphy.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta offers a choice of room and suite styles and bed configurations, depending on guests travel needs. These include Standard Queen Rooms, Standard Twin Room, Superior King Room and Executive King Suites. For something special, Novotel Sydney Parramatta also offers three indulgent and open-plan style King Spa Suites, located on the top floor of the hotel complete with a kitchenette and offering magnificent views of Parramatta.

All Queen, King Rooms and Suites feature a plush gel-infused memory foam bed, for instant comfort. In addition, every room at the hotel features an ensuite work desk, individually controlled air conditioning plus access to in-room TV channel, InBalance by Novotel with Sally Fitzgibbons for those who enjoy a gentle workout in the privacy of their room (yoga mats are available at reception). Other hotel features include 350 Restaurant & Lounge, an outdoor pool and spa, equipped gym, and handy undercover parking.

Located on the river in the heart of the city’s booming west, the 4.5 star Novotel Sydney Parramatta is a popular destination for business travellers, given its key location in Sydney’s second largest CBD. For those hosting a meeting, event or planning an urban wedding, the hotel has a choice of 11 versatile function spaces – not least of all boasting Western Sydney’s largest pillar-less ballroom – to celebrate a special occasion in style.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta is also very popular with leisure guests, especially due to its close proximity to Parramatta’s cosmopolitan dining precinct, the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta Park, Bankwest Stadium, Rosehill Racecourse, Wet’n’Wild Sydney, Westfield Shoppingtown Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park.

With Parramatta train station and ferry terminal within walking distance, Novotel Sydney Parramatta offers an easy access to Sydney CBD. Parramatta’s free CBD shuttle bus also on the doorsteps, making it easy for guests looking to explore Parramatta.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta is owned by Capitaland, an experienced hotel investor in Australia, and managed under the Novotel brand by Australia’s largest hotel group, Accor.
