A Beatles-Inspired Signature Suite under Serious Consideration for the Warwick New York Hotel’s Phase II Collection

The Warwick New York Hotel today announced that a Beatles’-inspired Signature Suite is under serious consideration as part of the hotel’s Phase II collection slated to begin construction later this year.

Today’s news was timed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four’s first US national televised appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964.

The Warwick Hotel’s first Phase of Signature Suites, completed in October 2013, features five exquisitely decorated and extremely spacious one-bedroom suites that individually pay homage to William Randolph Hearst (who commissioned the hotel to be built), Marion Davies, Jane Russell, the Ziegfeld Follies and the Museum of Modern Art.

To continue honoring iconic personalities and important cultural influences, the Warwick Hotel is reviewing preliminary designs for a Signature Suite dedicated to the Beatles who held a press conference and stayed at the hotel in 1965 as they began their third US tour.

“Part of the preliminary design direction includes blending elements that showcase the Beatles’ tremendous influence on pop culture with decorative items, furnishings and art that present a modern interpretation of the bold and festive birth of Rock N’ Roll” said Peter Walterspiel, General Manager, the Warwick New York Hotel.
