Strawberry Picking, Adelaide Hills
It’s hard to describe the juiciness and flavours that you get from direct-from-vine and into-your mouth strawberries.Beerenberg Farm is conveniently located in Adelaide Hills, just a 20 minutes’ drive from Adelaide city. The Beerenberg range of jams, dressings, chutneys, sauces, honey and mustards are famous globally. Drop into the farm shop to sample or buy these condiments for your friends and family back home. It is open from 9am to 5pm daily.
Pick your own strawberries: November to April.
Marble Hill Cherries is a specialist pick-your-own cherry orchard in the scenic Adelaide Hills. They have seven different cherry varieties available at the orchard. In addition, there are also native bushes near the cherries, and visitors may spot koalas near the packing shed. Indulge in some Marble Hill Cherry ice-cream and weekend sausage sizzles at the orchard to end of the pick-your-own cherry experience.

The blueberry is one of nature’s healthiest foods packed with loads of antioxidants. The Blueberry Patch, nestled in the Fleurieu Peninsula’s Nangkita Valley is just an hour’s drive from Adelaide city. Rich peat soils are fed by pure natural spring waters, producing what connoisseurs call the ‘true’ blueberry flavour.
The Blueberry Patch also has a small farm shop and a few picnic tables under the trees. In addition to fresh berries and jam, blueberry ice cream cones are very popular.
