A book by a Seychelles born Gesmay Paynter inspires, motivates and that hopefully will empower the reader

Seychelles-TravelGesmay Paynter, who grew up on the beautiful island of La Digue in the Seychelles, has compacted her life experiences into her book “Sharing Bananas” published by Xlibris Corporation of the UK.

Gesmay Paynter says that she was motivated to write the book in order to inspire, motivate and hopefully empower the reader. “This is a book of dreams, aspiration and taking action” says Gesmay who believes that winners never quit, and quitters never win.
PRESENTATION OF BOOK- SHARING BANANASOn Wednesday afternoon Gesmay Paynter paid a courtesy call on Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture to present the Minister with a signed copy of her book. Mrs Paynter was being accompanied by Mrs RoseMary Elizabeth, the Chairperson of the non-profit organization WASO and the book presentation was done in the presence of Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture in th Ministry of Tourism and Culture. “Gesmay Paynter comes from the island of La Digue like I do. I feel proud to see what she has achieved in the UK and I am so happy to see her recount her life experiences in her book that she has published in the UK. I salute Gesmay and wish her continued success” said Minister Alain St.Ange after receiving his autographed copy of the book “Sharing Bananas” from Gesmay.
Gesmay Paynter said that through her book she wants to share the philosophy that sharing makes us better and richer people. She believes perseverance and determination really pays off and says that everyone is invited to to connect with her and learn more about “Sharing Bananas” as a bunch we can do more (sharing bananas.org). Gesmay grew up on the paradise island of La Digue. From an early age she says that she was aware of her call in life. Her vision was to help, empower and transform people’s life. She dreamed of traveling the world before the airport was built on the Seychelles.
Gesmay has wide experience of traveling which includes living in Arabia and Asia. Gesmay is a well respected coach, mentor, teacher, travel expert and a raconteur. She has held several positions and now runs her own business in the UK and internationally. Gesmay’s zest for life and positive attitude impact on those she meets.
She is now working on her second book “The Secret Life of Bananas” which will be a cook book for training purposes.
