A Conversational Convention with Aviation Experts!

egtmedia59The 19th World Route Development Forum, took place in Las Vegas, Nevada from 5 to 8 October. It will was the largest civil aviation event to date, attracting 3,000 high-profile delegates from more than 100 countries worldwide. And by all reports, World Routes is assured of success in future. The event took place, for the first time on US soil.

Co-hosted by the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, the event was held in the Las Vegas Convention Center and marked the first time ever a Routes event has been held in the United States.

Unlike other International tourism and travel forums the Routes gathering provided face to face conversations and interview access to  over 100 CEOs of airlines, airports, and top tourism ministers. Industry leaders who jointly shape the world’s aviation and tourism industry.

During the event, access to market-leaders such as Christopher Thompson, President and CEO, Brand USA  and Alfredo Gonzalez Senior Vice President, and Roger Dow, CEO of the powerful US Travel Association was easy to accomplish.  Making marriages between suppliers and buyers was a full arsenal of Las Vegas CVB staff, lead by Rossi Ralenkotter, President & CEO and participants enjoyed the best of a city which heralds more significant convention traffic than any other American city. Next year, World Routes will be held in Chicago.
