Dans le Noir? at the Como Melbourne, Australia’s first French inspired ‘Dining in the Dark’ concept restaurant, has specifically curated two French ‘surprise’ menus to celebrate Bastille Day, on offer at the restaurant from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th of July.

After working with various European chefs and learning the art of traditional French cuisine, Head Chef Dinesh Munirathinam, has created two French surprise menus (‘Feed Me’ and Vegan/Vegetarian) to celebrate the day, allowing diners to authentically (re)discover delectable French cuisine, all in complete darkness.

Along with the delightful surprise menus and a selection of French wines, guests will explore incredible flavours as their senses heighten whilst dining in complete darkness, travelling to France (via their pallet) in this captivating sensory journey.

Dans le Noir? will also attend the annual Bastille Day Festival on Sunday 15th of July at North Melbourne’s Meat Market. The festival brings the French-Australian community together to celebrate the French National Day with a large cultural program. Dans le Noir? will partner with Romeo Wine and host a ‘French Sensory Journey’ from 2:00pm. Guests of the journey will also embark on a unique experience and challenge themselves in the dark with playful activities to awaken their sense of smell, touch, hear and taste!
