Summer holiday travel made easy

In light of the huge success of the baggage check-in option the day before departure, Air France is extending this service to all its long-haul flights that depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. For the remainder of the year,travelers will have the benefit of dropping off their bags at the airport free of charge the day before their departure*. On the following day, they can simply go straight to the boarding gate. This baggage check-in option the day before departure at the Invalides Terminal, in the heart of Paris, is also being renewed between June 15 and July 12, 2015 at a price of five euros per bag**.

** valid on all flights operated by Air France, check-in the day before from 13:00 to 21:00 

Immediate virtual boarding

Before travelers even board the latest Air France cabins, they can discover them at home, thanks to an unprecedented immersive experience with Google Street View technology. Through a real virtual tour, travelers can quietly stroll down the aisles of the long-haul Boeing 777 equipped with exceptional new cabins and discover in every detail the new designer suites in La Première, as well as the seats in Business, Premium Economy and Economy, as if they were already on board. Passengers can also take a walk down the central aisle of an Airbus A319 equipped with the new medium-haul Business and Economy cabins.

Air France Press on your smartphone and tablet

The Air France Press App is now available on smartphones and tablets. It enables travelers to download one or more newspapers and magazines from Air France’s offer of French and international digital press. Passengers just need a reservation on an Air France flight to start downloading. The newspapers and magazines are available worldwide from 30 hours before your flight and until the time of departure. They can be consulted before, during and after the flight.

More space on board with the Seat Plus option

Those who are sure they’d like to have extra legroom on their flight can now reserve Seat Plus. Located near the emergency exits or in the rows which are the furthest apart, the Seat Plus option is available on long-haul flights in the Economy cabin, as well as on most flights in Metropolitan France, Europe and on flights to and from North Africa (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia) and Israel in the Economy cabin. A new summer means new menus

Since May 1, passengers have been enjoying new dishes by choosing an «a la carte» menu from among four available choices. The Economy and Premium Economy cabins offer these meals as an alternative to the traditional option on board all long-haul flights from Paris*. These menus can be ordered for a price ranging from 12 to 28 euros, or from 4,000 to 8,500 Flying Blue Miles on www.airfrance.us at the time of booking in the «View/modify your booking» section. Travelers can order when checking in online or from Air France call centers and ticket offices up to 24 hours before departure.

* Offer available on all flights on which a hot meal is served, on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, except to Amman, Bangalore, Mumbai, Damascus, Delhi, Montreal and Toronto. 

The Air France coaches, for optimum comfort and peace of mind

Before or after the flight, the network of Air France coaches provides easy connections between central Paris and Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly airports. In addition to a direct scheduled service between the two airports, the “executive” coaches serve many stops in Paris. Travelers can enjoy great value fares when purchasing their tickets online. Air France coach tickets are available from 12.50 euros for an adult one-way.

Since June 1 2015, La Fille de L’air, the new fragrance by Courrèges, has been exclusively available on board Air France flights. A symbol of the common history of the two French brands, this initiative enables passengers to purchase the light and airy new fragrance during their trip. La Fille de L’air is the first perfume to be sold directly online on shopping.airfrance.com. The perfume is available in 50 ml (69 euros) and 90 ml (89 euros).
