If you are looking for last minute ideas to spoil your dad (or husband) this Father’s Day, why not take him into the city for a feast fit for a king. This Father’s Day, Swissôtel Sydney and Heineken are partnering on a buffet lunch concept that will promise all dads an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty with finger licking good food.

Back by popular demand from the successful Father’s Day event last year, the culinary team at Swissôtel will be setting up their iconic “Build-your-own-sandwich” bar with a premium addition of a live carvery station serving up slow-roasted, juicy and tender Australian beef and pork. With a choice of fresh baguette, brioche, sourdough or milk bun from the gourmet bread station along with a whole host of condiments, you can make your own desired sandwich just the way to like it. No buffet is complete without the mouthwatering sides such as salt and pepper calamari, Southern-fried chicken and a sushi bar.

For this year’s event, Heineken is setting up their exclusive pop-up bar and serving up their world acclaimed pale lager beer straight from the tap. Tickets to the lunch buffet include a three-hour beverage package and all fathers receive a special Father’s Day gift.

“We are known for our buffet high tea here at Swissôtel Sydney and this buffet lunch menu hits the right chord with families. There is a wide variety of food options and the display is very instagrammable, which is why it makes for a perfect afternoon.” says Paul Clune, Executive Chef Swissôtel Sydney.

The Father’s Day Buffet is available this Sunday, 1st September from 12pm to 3pm at Crossroads Bar, Swissôtel Sydney. Tickets are $110pp for Adults ($95 for Accor Plus Members) and $45pp for children 5-12 years including free-flow soft softs and juices. Children 4 and under eat free.
