A Memorable Festive Season Awaits at The Westin Melbourne

Create lasting memories and celebrate the upcoming festive season in style at The Westin Melbourne. Playing host to a program of seasonal events throughout December, gather with family and friends and indulge in culinary experiences including Christmas Day buffet lunch, festive high tea and a special NYE degustation dinner.

Festive High Tea
Settle in for an afternoon of indulgence and experience a festive twist on the traditional with a specially themed Christmas high tea. Served amongst the stunning surrounds of the Lobby Lounge, three tiers will feature bite-sized delicacies including favourites such as scones and finger sandwiches in addition to handcrafted treats.

Prices start from $49 per person including unlimited coffee, tea and herbal infusions. Price per child $30 (4 – 12 years.)

Available daily from 11:00am to 4:00pm, 1 – 31 December, 2016.

Christmas Day Lunch
Serving up a decadent buffet in the hotel’s signature restaurant, Allegro, you’ll be spoilt for choice as you dine on an array of festive dishes. On offer will be an abundant seafood selection including lobster, oysters and blue swimmer crab, charcuterie spread featuring duck liver parfait and traditional favourites such as ham on the bone and an extensive dessert buffet including Christmas pudding with cognac crème anglaise and raspberry and white chocolate trifle.

Price is $295 per adult including or $100 per child (4 – 12 years) including a glass of Moët and Chandon on arrival, selected beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee plus a visit from Santa with gifts for the children.

Served 12:00pm to 3:30pm on Sunday 25 December, 2016.

New Year’s Eve Degustation Dinner
Usher in 2017 with a tantalizing six course New Year’s Eve degustation dinner in the heart of the city. Allegro Restaurant will be serving up a special menu featuring dishes such as native Angasi oysters with Osietra caviar, Victorian venison smoked in red gum with summer blackberries, onion and bone marrow sauce and an almond buttermilk sponge with crunchy dark chocolate and river mint.

A complimentary glass of champagne will be served on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace to dinner guests that stay on for the NYE countdown.

Seatings will be available from 6:00pm to 9:30pm on Saturday 31 December, 2016. Price is $180 per person including a glass of Moët and Chandon and canapés on arrival or $260 with matching wines. Dinner guests that stay on for the NYE countdown can take in all the action from the Allegro outdoor terrace with complimentary champagne served at midnight.
