Over the past 20 years Johnson has been one of the country’s hardest working actors, with acclaimed roles in television series and films, including The Secret Life of Us, Rush and award-winning comedyCrackerjack.

He is also known for his work with ‘Love Your sister’, a charity he created after his big sister Connie Johnson was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

To raise funds for the charity and raise awareness of breast cancer, Johnson rode a unicycle on a 15,955km, 364-day journey around Australia. Along the way he set a new World Record for Longest Distance Travelled on a Unicycle and generated almost $1.5 million for breast cancer research.

Travellers Choice Chief Executive Christian Hunter says Johnson’s remarkable story is sure to be a highlight of the 2015 Shareholders’ Conference, which is this year themed ‘Leading the Way’.

“Our focus this year is on exploring the many ways our members can be leaders in all aspects of their business, and Samuel is someone who has shown exceptional drive and focus both professionally and in his personal life,” says Hunter.

“It’s an honour to have him re-live his unique journey with our members, and I know we will all draw inspiration from a story that celebrates love, loyalty and determination, as well as the warmth and generosity of ordinary Australians.”

This year’s Shareholders’ Conference – which takes place from November 20-22 at the five-star Pullman Melbourne Albert Park – will also feature Andrew Daddo as Master of Ceremonies and an address from Australian Federation of Travel Agents CEO Jayson Westbury.
