In the 12th century, when the Carthusian monks founded their monastery at the foot of the Sierra del Montsant, they showed us the way.

Now we have rehabilitated his farm, where they cultivated their vines, olive trees and orchards to offer a unique stay in an exceptional place. 26 rooms of high comfort, in the middle of the Montsant Natural Park, where you can immerse yourself in the landscape, silence and gastronomy of the region.

The Vives family puts at your disposal a haven of peace in one of the most appreciated wine regions of the world.

In addition to the hotel, the farm has its own winery where the wines of the estate are produced and where our guests can learn first-hand how Priorat wines are made.

Rooms

Terra Dominicata has 26 superior rooms distributed between the two historic buildings of the estate.

The refurbishment has been carried out respecting to the maximum the original architecture. This is the reason why it does not have two identical rooms and each one has its own unique personality.

The rooms are decorated in an elegant, soft and contemporary style that enhance the feeling of comfort and well-being in perfect harmony with the building and its natural environment.

Rooms are divided into 3 categories: Superior, Junior Suite and Suite.

Gastronomy

Being a land of worldwide renowned wines, we provide our guests an excellent gastronomic offer based on natural ingredients using locally sourced produce that Priorat’s nature offer us every season and cooked in a style that combines tradition and innovation.

The hotel has two independent gastronomic spaces, one in the main building and a cooking workshop in the winery.

The gastronomic space of the main building is spacious and has two different areas, with a total capacity of 56 diners. Through its windows you can enjoy magnificent views of the nature that surrounds the estate. It also has a spacious veranda with a capacity for 30 people where al fresco meals can be enjoyed most part of the year.

Events

The Terra Dominicata state is an exceptional place to hold private celebrations and professional events.

In a building annex to the winery there is an exclusive space formed on the ground floor by the kitchen workshop and on the top floor by two meeting rooms, with capacity for 16 people each and that they can be united into one, creating a large space of 400 sqm.

Each room has a fireplace and large windows that look out over the exuberant natural landscape of the area.

Cooking courses and wine tastings can be carried out in the kitchen workshop located on the lower floor
