Mention the word ‘Fancourt’ amongst the international golfing community, and there is instant attention.  The immediate drawcard being the Estate’s three 18-hole Gary Player designed golf courses – Montagu, Outeniqua and The Links – all ranked in Golf Digest’s Top 20, with the famed Links course as No 1.  Added to this is The Links’ recognition as the only certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary (a USA-based standard), in Africa, as a result of its commitment to the protection of the environment and preservation of golf’s heritage.  Awarded not only once, but three times in five years.http://www.seychelles.travel/

Now there is an opportunity to play all three of these courses with the launch of the new amateur Fancourt International Tournament between the 4th and 8th December 2017

It goes without saying that it is every avid golfer’s desire to play in this famed leisure and lifestyle destination, located in South Africa’s prime tourist attraction on the Garden Route in the Western Cape.  Home to not only The President’s Cup in 2003, but also the Dimension Data Pro Am, one of the principal golf tournaments on the Southern Africa Sunshine circuit since 2010, the possibility of playing on one, let alone all three of these prestigious courses may have been a dream, but is now a reality inviting individuals from around the world to experience three world class Gary Player designed championship courses.

For an all-inclusive package of ZAR R19 515.00 per person sharing, players are offered four night’s accommodation in the 5* luxury Fancourt Hotel, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and voted Global winner of Luxury Golf Resorts and Country Winner Luxury Garden Resort by World Luxury Hotels at the end of 2016.  Included, besides accommodation and daily breakfast, is play on all three courses, daily dinner, pre-dinner drinks, entertainment, daily half-way house, golf carts on the Outeniqua and Montagu courses and various other memorabilia.

Alternatively, there is the luxurious Manor House, situated on the Estate.  As a national monument, the hotel is steeped in the early history of South Africa, dating back to 1859, providing a bespoke experience unlike any other.  A truly 5* boutique establishment that offers romance, character and warmth; exclusivity in every sense, this internationally nominated ‘most romantic hotel in Africa’ is testimony to the epitome of exemplary service and superlative quality
