A San Valentine’s Date at Pirata

January 18, 2017 Dining No Comments Email Email

Looking for a cosy date night spot? Pirata is the go-to place for those looking to be wined and dined this Valentine’s Day with its rustic Italian fare. This year, Chef Stefano Rossi has lovingly prepared a special menu featuring restaurant favourites and his famous heart-shaped Amorini pasta.

Priced at HKD520 per person, San Valentines Menu is seven courses of fresh, seasonal and homemade ingredients with dishes that are perfect for couples to share.

Piatti Piccoli to start include Pirata’s signature M.M.M. (My Mamma’s Meatballs), Anchovies Crostini served with Grandmother’s green sauce, Fresh Garden Tomato Brushetta, and Burrata & Parma Ham.

For mains, enjoy Chef Stefano’s special Amorini, heart-shaped handmade pasta filled with asparagus, white truffle and generously shaved black winter truffle. Next, chose from Pirata’s signature Butcher’s Cut steak or the baked Eggplant Parmigiana served with melted, bubbling Buffalo mozzarella and parmesan.

The Panna Cotta is a light and creamy finish, topped with home-made raspberry coulis and fresh raspberry.

Pirata’s atmospheric Vermuteria bar with vintage features and soft lighting is the perfect spot to start or finish the meal. Try the Valentine’s special Amore Mio Bellini cocktail (HKD100) with fresh lychee, watermelon and prosecco.
