A Spanish Saturday Brunch at Boqueria Food Fiesta for Friends and Family every Weekend

Valencia-native and El Bulli trained Chef David Izquierdo welcomes guests to a full day of fun and food every Saturday, with Boqueria’s Super Fin De all-you-can-eat Saturday brunch (HK$238)

Inspired by La Mercat de la Boqueria, the renowned market in Barcelona that the restaurant is named after, buffet stations and roaming carts abundant with Spanish favourites like paella, suckling pig, beef sirloin and grilled churrascos meats, salads, cheeses and desserts, give guests much to taste and discover.

Starting at noon, and ending at 4pm, brunch at Boqueria is an all-day affair of family, friends, food, and lots of good fun. Guests will enjoy watching as the crispy suckling pig is cut using just the blunt side of a plate, and are welcome to try their hand at “sabering” a bottle of bubbly cava, ie. open a bottle with a stroke of a blunt knife. Throughout the afternoon, expect servers to come around with rounds of porrón, a traditional Spanish wine pitcher to pour directly into guests’ mouths.

Guests who wish to indulge in free flow drinks (HK$128) can ask for unlimited fresh sangria to order, where they can choose their own combinations of wines, juices, spirits and garnish. This drinks offering also include unlimited draught beer, sodas, cava, mimosa, Bloody Mary, and freshly pressed juices.

Start the meal with a wide selection of pinxtos and tapas, before moving on to the grilled meats and roasted sirloin, with plenty of salsas to choose from, and, of course, slices of freshly carved jamón. The sight of the full bodied suckling pig and giant pans of savoury paella is sure to impress, but it is the authentic flavours that will have guests coming back for seconds and thirds.

Boqueria’s tapas chef will be on hand to make eggs on demand so they’re fresh on hot. Whether you try the Spanish style eggs and potatoes with a choice of salmon, Ibérico ham and oxtail, or huevos rotos with house-made chorizo or oysters, Boqueria will ensure brunch is a fully satisfying experience – before you take that siesta.
