All aboard with the Helloworld team for a private tour of one of the world’s great trains, as well as surf lessons in Bali and fun in Fiji, this Sunday at 4.30pm on Nine and 9Now.
Sonia Kruger will delight train lovers as she takes a private tour of Canada’s legendary Rocky Mountaineer. She is treated to heated seats, gold-leaf service and delicious food on the train that runs from Vancouver to Banff, covering some of the most magnificent and inaccessible terrain in the world.
Lauren Phillips is off to Bali to find the best family activities on the island, dropping her bags at Pullman Bali Legian Beach on the way. First up is the Waterbom Bali waterpark in the heart of Kuta. After cruising along the Lazy River ride Lauren heads to the beach for a surf lesson with Pro Surf. Then she winds down at La Plancha, a Spanish restaurant and bar located on the sands of beautiful Seminyak Beach.
Bula! Stevie Jacobs finds himself on the magical island of Fiji, exploring the Coral Coast, an 80-kilometre stretch of stunning beaches on Viti Levu. He checks into the Shangri La Fijian Resort and Spa on the private Yanuca Island, which includes a nine-hole golf course and offers family fun activities like tie-dying. Stevie then does some souvenir shopping before immersing himself in Fijian culture with a traditional kava ceremony
Meanwhile, Denis Walter continues his tour of the United Kingdom. He heads to the city of Bath, ticking the historic Roman Baths off his list, before visiting what is considered to be one of the finest achievements in 18th century urban architecture: Royal Crescent, a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent. He also visits the exhibition of Bath’s most famous resident at the Jane Austen Centre, and grabs a spot of tea and scones in the upstairs Regency Tea Room.
