Lizzie Adamson-Brown is the founder of a business travel consultancy that is unique in its approach to business and their clients.

Lizzie has also been unveiled as Newcastle upon Tyne ambassador for a businesswomen’s travel network. She is to act in an ambassadorial capacity for after discovering the site whilst researching restaurants in the USA for a female client.

She said: “My female client was staying in the USA for over a week, but felt uncomfortable travelling, eating and drinking alone. Maiden was launched in 2008 by Carolyn Pearson, who came up with the idea while travelling alone on business.
