Australia and New Zealand guided holiday experts, AAT Kings, together with The Travel Corporation’s non-for-profit organisation The TreadRight Foundation, is proud to announce the extension of its partnership agreement with the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors for another 2 years. With the intent of raising awareness towards the rehabilitation and conservation of our flora and fauna this World Wildlife Day (3rd March), AAT Kings will continue to fund world class Koala care at Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Hospital, ensuring every guest that passes through has the chance to contribute to the Koala Rehabilitation Project and show their support towards the preservation of our native creatures.

Guests travelling to Brisbane have the opportunity to visit Australia Zoo on the Brisbane & Australia Zoo four-day Short Break. The zoo has a team of over 500 who believe in conservation through exciting education, and they will ensure travellers will have a wildlife experience they will never forget. Guests can visit the Wildlife Hospital and understand the work going on behind the scenes to help rehabilitate and care for injured and orphaned koalas in addition to other animals.

MD of AAT Kings Hans Belle says: “Across Australia and New Zealand AAT Kings is proud to support a number of important projects with a focus on wildlife conservation. The Wildlife Hospital is a natural fit for us, it’s the largest and busiest facility of its kind in the world, treating 800 koalas each year right in our own backyard. AAT Kings will continue to provide donation to projects that encourage global sustainable tourism, caring for our native species that are cherished by travellers from all around the world”

TreadRight’s guiding principle is to encourage sustainable tourism development through conservation, leadership and support for communities. As well as support of Australia Zoo’s Wildlife Hospital, AAT Kings is currently supporting Rainbow Springs Kiwi Conservation in New Zealand and Tasmanian Devil vaccination projects in Australia.
