AAT Kings is celebrating a double win at this year’s Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards which were held on Saturday 12th November at a glittering ceremony in Darwin. These annual awards are designed to recognise tourism operators, industry suppliers and individuals who contribute to the tourism industry in the Northern Territory and the AAT Kings team is delighted with its achievements this year having triumphed in two categories; Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services and Major Tour and Transport Operators.
John Veitch, TTC CEO Australia, commented “I am delighted and proud of AAT Kings’ achievements at this year’s Brolga Awards with the bestowment of these two prestigious accolades for the second year in a row. The Northern Territory is one of Australia’s most beautiful and fascinating regions and our day tours, short breaks and guided holidays give guests the opportunity to experience it in an engaging and exciting way. These awards are a testimony to the hard work and dedication of the entire AAT Kings team and our fantastic product offering in the Northern Territory.”
The first of these awards for Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services was awarded to AAT Kings for its Uluru Barbecue dinner which guests can enjoy under a canopy of stars after a magical sunset over Uluru. The second award was in recognition of AAT Kings as a major contributor to tourism through a combination of touring and transport services.
Winners of the Brolga Awards business categories will go on to represent the Northern Territory at the Australian Tourism Awards to be held in Darwin in February 2017.
