Building on its commitment to showcase the very best of Australia and New Zealand to both domestic and international travellers, AAT Kings (www.aatkings.com.au) has appointed Lucy Jin to the newly created position of Sales Manager Asia, effective 2 September 2013.

With a strong background in touring sales and product development particularly within South East and North East Asia as well as Japan, Lucy brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role and is highly regarded within the Australian inbound travel sector and throughout Asia.

Fluent in Mandarin, Korean and Japanese, Lucy will spearhead AAT Kings’ efforts in developing and launching export-ready product for new markets such as China, while strengthening existing relationships in traditional Asian markets.

Anthony Hayes, Global Managing Director, AAT Kings said: “We are very excited to welcome Lucy Jin to the AAT Kings family. Her passion for travel and knowledge of domestic touring, coupled with her formidable experience within the Asian market will make her a great addition to our brand and International Sales team.

“Like many domestic travel operators, Asia is a key inbound market for us which we have long serviced through our charter program and foreign language services. To expand on this and grow awareness of the breadth of experiences and services AAT Kings offers, we’ve established the role of Sales Manager Asia. In turn this will reinforce our dedication to working with international tourism offices and buyers to ensure they’re well aware of our ability to tailor our product to cater to their clients’ interests and travel needs.”

Reporting into Fleur Ulbrick, Head of International Sales, Lucy will also be responsible for ongoing client relations, identifying new trade partnerships and growth opportunities, working alongside AAT Kings’ International Sales team to best service the Asia region. Lucy will be based in Bondi Junction, Sydney at AAT Kings’ Head Office, although will spend a significant amount of time over the next 12 months throughout South East and North East Asia.
