Aberdeen Street Social Celebrates One Year At PMQ

image014 (1)Since its grand opening in May 2014, Aberdeen Street Social has quickly established itself as one of Hong Kong’s favourite social destinations. Located in a historic two- story venue with a buzzy bar and bistro downstairs, contemporary restaurant upstairs and outdoor terraces overlooking the gardens, the PMQ hotspot is the place to go for modern British cuisine, afternoon tea and award-winning cocktails.

“We are so happy to be celebrating Aberdeen Street Social’s first anniversary,” said owner Yenn Wong. “Opening at the iconic PMQ was an exciting way to establish a new dining concept in Hong Kong and we are thrilled that the neighbourhood and Hong Kong community have embraced its unique space and Jason Atherton’s cuisine. We are very proud of the efforts of the Aberdeen Street Social team and look forward to another great year.”

Aberdeen Street Social devotees can join in on the anniversary celebration in the upstairs restaurant on Wednesday, 27 May, where Chef Chris Whitmore will prepare a special dinner menu (priced at HK$1200 or with wine pairing for HK$2188).

Aberdeen Street Social is now taking reservations for the anniversary dinner from 6pm in the upstairs restaurant. Please note that the bar & bistro downstairs will be closed on 27 May for a private event.
