Abu Dhabi attracts

Tourists are increasingly seeking to visit newly created mega attractions of Abu Dhabi. The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi conducted a four city roadshow in India, its second largest source market, to inform and educate the trade about its attractions. 

Mubarak Al Nuaimi, Director Promotions and Overseas Offices, Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, said: “India is a vital source market providing more and more hotel guests each year to help us reach 4.9 million visitors last year. We see great potential from this sector and are running succession of roadshows to cities across India.”

Every third visitor at Ferrari world, Abu Dhabi is an Indian. We have noticed many DINKs (Double Income No Kids) travelling on short holidays and extended weekends. They go for adventure, to seek gastronomy and more.”

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Emirates Palace are monumental attractions. Al Ain Oasis and Zoo are popular as cool, natural attractions. Yas Island with Yas Marina Circuit & Yas Waterworld apart from Ferrari World, is offering attractive summer packages for visitors and has complimentary shuttle for all interesting sites on the island. Louvre Abu Dhabi has created a surge in arrivals after its opening in last quarter of 2017.

Warner Brother theme park and new Abu Dhabi Airport opening in second and fourth quarter respectively will be new attractions being built at billions of dollars investment.

282 flights from 13 Indian cities connect to Abu Dhabi. Etihad offers an exclusive service-The Residence, a private suite with a living, bed and bath rooms on its Airbus 380 flight.
