“Rob has been a long time supporter of the Association and he has always been willing to contribute to policy debate and improving the industry on behalf of the Best Western members as well as the industry as a whole” said Richard Munro, Chief Executive Officer of the Accommodation Association.

“In 2012, the Accommodation Association had the opportunity to recognise Rob’s achievements by presenting him with a HOSTPLUS ACES Award at our annual Accommodation Achiever Awards.

“The HOSTPLUS ACES Award is presented to those individuals who live the values of Attitude, Commitment, Enthusiasm and Services, and Rob’s contributions to industry are a clear reflection of this.

“At the time, Rob had served as CEO of Best Western Australasia for seven years and was leading Best Western through some of its biggest changes to improve the company’s brand.

“We congratulate Rob on all his achievements, and wish him the best as he enjoys his well-earned retirement.”
