In attendance were more than 60 industry heavyweights from a variety of travel management companies and corporate clients including American Express, CWT, Merck, Barclays, NOL, Bank Julius Bär, Bank Sarasin, Shell and more. Representatives from Accor’s key corporate hotels in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand got the chance to mix with clients and share the latest news on the group’s 3700 hotels worldwide, including more than 635 in Asia Pacific alone.

“We were privileged to have so many of our key people from our top corporate customers attend this special evening, ” said Kerry Healy, Vice President, Sales, Accor Asia Pacific. “This is a very exciting time for Accor Asia Pacific, with the group opening, on average, one hotel per week and the network growing to include some excellent properties for corporate travellers. This evening was an opportunity to further build on our relationships with key partners and showcase the hospitality of the Sofitel So Singapore.”

HI-SO is an upscale yet relaxed urban oasis set amidst the towering office buildings of Singapore’s CBD – alluring with its gleaming golden-tiled pool and chic open-air terrace. Clients enjoyed canapes including foie gras and truffle siew mai, the chef’s famous laksa risotto and coconut and yuzu cake mousse while sipping Taittinger Champagne and the hotel’s signature No. 35 Cocktail. Leading DJs played ambient beats and a social vibe was created amongst the rooftop cabanas.

“I love the gorgeous roof top location you have here at the hotel. It has been a fabulous evening that gave me an opportunity to network and meet with other hotel representatives in the group and hear the latest updates and happenings at Accor. I look forward to many more networking evenings like tonight in the near future.” said Lisa Meehan, Director – Travel, Card & Meeting, Asia Pacific & Japan of MSD International GmbH (Singapore Branch)
