AccorHotels announces today the opening of Novotel Suzhou SIP. Located in the heart of Suzhou Industrial Park, the 307-key property has joined the growing Novotel network in the Greater China region which currently has 16 hotels across 10 cities.

“We’re excited with the opening of our first Novotel in Suzhou”, said Michel Molliet, Chief Operating Officer, AccorHotels Greater China. “This historic city is one of eastern China’s major centres for trade and economic development and it is also one of the country’s top tourist destinations. For centuries Suzhou has been famous for its canals, stone bridges, pagodas and landscaped gardens. By introducing Novotel’s signature easy-living lodging concept to the city, AccorHotels is further cementing its hospitality leadership in the mid-scale segment which will continue to be one of our growth drivers in the Greater China region.”

The three international airports — Sunan in Wuxi and another two airports in Shanghai — are 40 minutes, one hour and two hours’ drive from the hotel respectively.

Offering serene views of Jinji Lake, China’s largest urban lake and Moon Harbour, the 307 rooms and suites feature premium bedding, flat screen LCD TV with satellite TV programmes, coffee/tea making facilities, complimentary broadband internet access.

The hotel also provides a variety of dining options at its five distinctive restaurants and bars. The Square is an all-day dining restaurant offering international buffet and a-la-carte menu options.
