ACTE and Academia de Viagens Corporativas Announce Education Partnership

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) and the Brazilian-basedAcademia de Viagens Corporativas (AVC) have formed an education partnership to deliver innovative and interactive programming throughout Latin America. The sessions called ABROAD Mix will launch in four Latin and South American cities. In partnership with ACTE, the Roadshow combines the interactive format pioneered and trademarked by AVC’s ABROAD Mix series with global perspective on the latest in travel innovation. Co-branded “ABROAD Mix in Partnership with ACTE,” the programs will be held:

• June 30, 2015 — Buenos Aires, Argentina
• August 25, 2015 — Santiago, Chile
• September 10, 2015 — Mexico City*
• November 25, 2015 — Bogota, Colombia
* Date to be confirmed

“Global innovation is more than just a theme for our industry this year,” said Greeley Koch, ACTE’s Executive Director, “It’s an objective. Our collaboration with the Academia de Viagens Corporativas guarantees the message of innovation will have the greatest impact in this market, while adhering to critical cultural parameters.”

The joint endeavor with AVC boosts the number of ACTE global events to 75 in 2015, with 63 occurring outside the US, establishing the association the leader in international travel trade events.

The ABROAD Mix endeavor represents the first major program under the administration of Monica Hailstone, ACTE’s regional director for the Americas. Named to the position on January 1, 1015, Hailstone said, “ACTE has enjoyed a presence in Latin and South America for the last 15 years. The ABROAD Mix Partnership program represents our ongoing commitment to this dynamic region and the future.”
