October 31, 2013 Association No Comments Email Email

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives’ Job Bank is the first (and last) stop for many companies looking for top people with unique skills. For those posting a CV/résumé, it’s like having a personal placement officer hand-deliver credentials to human resource professionals.

And now, ACTE Executive Director Greeley Koch has eliminated any job-posting fees for ACTE members through 31 December 2013.

“A job is a long-term investment in employer credibility and employee capability,” said Koch. “ACTE’s reputation as the association for travel industry experts, many known for innovative achievements, lends an edge to members’ curriculum vital in a competitive job market. That edge just got a little sharper. ACTE is waiving the fees for prospective employers that are ACTE members through the end of the year.”

Listed under “Solutions” on the association’s website (, the Job Bank carries positions ranging in title from travel manager to director, spanning IT companies, defense contractors, risk management firms, financial institutions, and consultancies. CV/résumé listings are confidential and available only to perspective employers.

There is no cost to anyone posting a resumé on Job Bank. ACTE members listing a position are usually charged $149 (USD) per month. (The non-member fee is $249.) Yet throughDecember 31, 2013, no fees will be charged to ACTE member companies posting jobs. Package deals, including banner ads, offer longer duration at greater discounts and can now be an affordable added bonus to ACTE members who can do a basic job posting for no fee. Members interested in posting their job announcements can contact to obtain the appropriate coupon code.

Speaking to the general assembly at ACTE’s Global Travel Conference in Barcelona (21 October), Koch announced that in conclusion to the association’s 25th Anniversary year, all Job Bank fee for ACTE members would be waved. “There is no better way to celebrate 25 years of enhancing the business travel process than to ensure our members have a job they love,” said Koch.
