For Brekkie Chef, Gina Ragasa, who has been with the hotel since opening, the birthday celebrations will see her walk down memory lane. Gina started on opening day as a fresh-faced Commis Chef and, since those early days, estimates she and the kitchen team have cracked and cooked around 358,200 eggs, fried more than 22 tonnes of bacon and grilled six tonnes of snags.
And they’re not alone. The hardworking housekeepers have changed more than 753,190 sheets and 970,280 pillow cases and the reception team have checked in more than 800,000 guests.
TFE Hotels’ Chief Operating Officer, Chris Sedgwick, said the best companies were made up of the best people and he was incredibly proud to celebrate the birthday milestone with his team.
“Birthdays are a time for celebrations,” Mr Sedgwick said. “But it is also the perfect time to acknowledge the incredible effort our behind-the-scenes and front-of-house teams have put into ensuring our guests feel like they have had a home-away-from-home with us over the past ten years.”

Back on the grill, Gina is gearing up to not only crack a smile for the tenth birthday celebrations but scrambling to crack her three-hundred-and-fifty-eight-thousand-two-hundred-and-first egg, and she wouldn’t have it any other way*.
