unnamedFrom next week, Adventure Tours Australia (ATA) is providing the option to start and finish its iconic three day Uluru Explorer trip in Ayers Rock rather than Alice Springs, allowing travellers to save on time and utilise more affordable flights to Yulara.

ATA is one of the only tour operators beginning and ending comprehensive Uluru trips from Yulara, the closest airport to Ayers Rock. The Uluru Explorer trips cuts out the five and a half hour commute from Alice Springs, foregoing an early morning start and a night’s pre-accommodation, and giving travellers more time to explore the Red Centre.

Furthermore, travellers can take advantage of affordable flights with low cost carrier airlines from Australia’s East Coast cities to Yulara, rather than paying a premium to fly to Alice Springs.

“Adventure Tours Australia is excited to provide this exclusive option to agents,” says David ‘Thommo’ Thomson, ATA Brand Manager. “By starting and finishing in Yulara, our Uluru Explorer trip is keeping the value with the traveller and maximising on convenience, so agents can now save their clients both valuable time and money.”

The Uluru Explorer trip includes three icons of the area – Uluru (Ayers Rock), the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and Kings Canyon. Travellers will deepen their understanding of the area and the traditional owners of the land on a cultural interpretive walk with an Aboriginal guide. The tour includes three nights in a permanent tented site.

Adventure Tours Australia 3 Day Uluru Explorer (from Yulara) is from $649 per person. Departure is guaranteed with just one passenger and tours run daily.
