Adventure World And Brand USA Debut Its Inaugural USA Brochure

On Monday evening, the Australian Museum played host to the much anticipated launch of Adventure World’s USA Tailor-Made Collection and presented its inaugural USA brochure.

Guests were greeted to a red carpet arrival with an obvious Americana theme, as food trucks lined up to serve pulled pork and chicken soft tacos. Various activations from Adventure World’s brand partner Brand USA, including a virtual reality experience of Utah, kept everyone entertained prior to the main event and three-course dinner.

Kim Mackay, CEO of the Australian Museum, welcomed a room filled with media, trade guests and media partners. Neil Rodgers, Managing Director of Adventure World, continued the formalities and welcomed The Travel Corporation’s (TTC) CEO Brett Tollman, who had flown in for the event from his home city of Los Angeles. Rodgers stated, “We are honoured that Mr Tollman could join us for the launch of our inaugural USA collection. This collection of tailor-made journeys fits perfectly with Adventure World’s philosophy of creating unique and extraordinary travel experiences.”

Visitors marvelled at highlights of the USA from the towering sequoia trees of Yosemite National Park, to the vibrant colours of New England, authentic ranch stays in Texas and the rhythms of the Deep South.

The TreadRight and ME to WE Foundations were also showcased, highlighting some of the sustainable tourism projects that TTC works with, including its Wildlife and Heritage Initiatives in which Rodgers expressed a great passion for ensuring the environment and communities TTC’s family of brands visit remain vibrant for generations to come. TTC’s guiding principle is to encourage sustainable tourism development through conservation, leadership, and support for communities.

The Americana theme continued throughout the evening with a delicious New England Clam Chowder served for entrée. The main course was Salmon on Bacon, Prawn and Chive Mash or Grain Fed Angus Eye Fillet with Potato Galette, accompanied by wines from California’s Napa Valley and Sonoma County and beer from Nevada. Guests were then treated to a tasting of an Oregon dessert beer followed by an irresistible Apple Crumble Pie with Maple and Pecan Ice Cream, to really top off the ‘taste of America’.
