The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is pleased to announce the nominees in the 2014 AFTA National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA).
There has been an increased number of nominations on last year with Best Sales Executive Industry Supplier topping it’s record from last year with over 80 nominees. This is a testament to the calibre of the NTIA and the desire for people to be a part of these awards.

The full list of nominees may be found on the AFTA website at www.afta.com.au/NTIANominationsVoting Voting in the 2014 AFTA NTIA will commence at 9.00am on Monday 24th March and run until 5.00pm on Thursday 17th April. There will be two separate voting forms – one for Travel Agents to use when voting in the supplier categories and one for Suppliers when voting in the Travel Agency categories. Participants may vote for up to 5 nominees in each category.

AFTA Event Manager, Alex Cook said “We have had a great result in the 2014 NTIA nominations as well as large volumes of Gala Dinner ticket requests coming through already since opening on Tuesday. We are expecting another huge response when voting opens on Monday. We wish all nominees the best of luck during the voting period.”

The voting forms may be found on the AFTA website www.afta.com.au/NTIANominationsVoting on Monday.

Ticket sales have already commenced and are selling very quickly. Tickets may be purchased on the AFTA website www.afta.com.au/NTIAGalaDinnerTicketBookings The winners will be announced at the NTIA Gala Dinner on Saturday 19th July, to be held at the Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park. “AFTA received excellent feedback after the move to the Hordern in 2013 with the extra space much needed for the growing event, with as equally positive feedback regarding the AFTA Party sponsored by Singapore Airlines being able to hold all ticket holders. This year guests can expect an even more impressive night than the last” AFTA CEO, Jayson Westbury said.
