The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Vodafone Business Centre Port Melbourne which will see AFTA members gaining access to first to market offers, customised business solutions and a dedicated Account Manager.

Vodafone Business Centre Port Melbourne opened in 2006 and through consistently providing the highest standard business solutions and best possible sales experience they have connected over 5,000 business customers to the Vodafone Network nationally. In 2018 they were awarded the number 1 business dealer in Australia.

As AFTA’s Telecommunications Partner they are passionate about supporting Australian travel agents become more agile, better connected and engage with their travel clients more effectively.

Jayson Westbury, AFTA Chief Executive welcomes the new partnership saying; “AFTA is constantly innovating and forging new partnerships with businesses who recognise the value travel agents play in the travel supply chain. We are pleased to have this new partnership with Vodafone Business Centre Port Melbourne – a business passionate about connecting people and helping travel agency businesses excel”.

IT Manager, Anthony Lau of Express Travel Group is an existing customer of Vodafone Business Centre Port Melbourne and says that “Since switching from Optus to Vodafone we have been very happy with the level of service. Not only has the network coverage been more reliable but the team at Vodafone Business Centre Port Melbourne is readily available to respond to any queries. Furthermore, our monthly expenditure has fallen by 33%.

One reason for this saving is Vodafone’s Red Roam. When our staff travel overseas we know that for just $5 per day they have access to the shared data pool as if they were still in Australia. This gives us peace of mind without having to remember to bolt-on roaming packs”.
