AFTA Education and Training has appointed Open Colleges, an AFTA Accredited college, as their Preferred Online Training Provider to offer relevant, effective and affordable online courses to the travel & tourism industry existing workforce and to new learners who are seeking to become travel agents.

The signing ceremony was held in Sydney last week which was overseen by Ian Carew Reid, Chair of the Advisory Council monitoring this process and Nic Cola, Managing Director of Open Colleges.
The venture will commence with THREE nationally accredited courses leading to the Certificate III in Travel, Certificate III in Tourism and Certificate IV in Travel & Tourism qualifications which cover entry level positions and supervisory roles.
Development of other management and leadership programs will be considered in the future.
