AFTA mourns the loss of Roy King, AFTA Life Member

With the passing of AFTA Past President (1962-1963) and AFTA Life Member Roy King, AFTA extends its heart felt sympathies to the family and friends of a great travel industry legend.http://www.thavornpalmbeach.com/phuket-luxury-holiday-package/

Roy was acknowledged for his strong advocacy and leadership in the travel industry in 2007 when he was presented with an award for “Outstanding Contribution by an Individual”. Roy was also welcomed as a Life Membership of AFTA as further recognition of his invaluable industry contribution.

“Roy’s contribution to the travel industry was exemplary and his unwavering commitment to his industry body in AFTA was always top of mind,” said Jayson Westbury, AFTA Chief Executive.

“The travel industry will mourn the loss of this travel legend and all of us at AFTA wish to extend our deepest sympathies to his family at this time,” said Westbury.
