The tree can be up to two metres in length and must be declared at least 48 hours before departure by calling the airberlin service centre at +49 30 3434 3434 (local charges apply). This service is especially popular among flight guests travelling to Spain. Guests are also permitted to bring their Christmas trees on long-haul flights.

airberlin offers its guests an attractive programme each year under the motto ‘Flying home for Christmas’. This also includes the advent calendar on airberlin.com with attractive special offers for the next journey with airberlin. During the pre-Christmas season, mulled wine will be offered to flight guests on board all airberlin flights between Germany, Austria and Switzerland starting at 4 p.m. An Aachener Printen gingerbread will be offered as a Christmas snack.
