Agents’ Eyes on the Prizes with Cruise Month on the Horizon

With only days to go to the start of the inaugural Plan A Cruise Month, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia has revealed details of the great prize pool on offer to agents during the first ever month-long cruise promotion down under.http://www.tourismlegal.com.au/

Throughout October, CLIA agent members will go in the draw for weekly prizes every time they make a deposited cruise booking, with four cruises and four double passes to the 2017 CLIA Cruise Industry Awards on offer.

Cruise prizes range from a luxury European river cruise to a short break, as well as an invitation to a ship christening in the US. Full details are now available online.

CLIA Australasia Commercial Director Brett Jardine said the best social media and marketing efforts incorporating #cruisemonth would also go in a weekly draw to win $1000 in co-op marketing funds. Agents just need to follow and tag CLIA Australasia on Twitter or Facebook and include #cruisemonth in their post.

“This is the most generous prize pool we’ve offered and we hope it’s a great incentive for agents to get involved with our inaugural Cruise Month, which is all about raising awareness of cruising and promoting CLIA agent members as the best avenue to book a cruise holiday,” Mr Jardine said.

Reflecting the growth of the cruise industry worldwide, Plan A Cruise Month replaces the shorter annual Cruise Week promotion and will be rolled out by CLIA offices around the world in October in the first international coordination of the promotion.
