COMO Hotels and Resorts partnered with Thai Airways and TAT to introduce a new facet of Phuket to Australian agents.

After a stopover at the Metropolitan Bangkok, where the group was treated to dinner at nahm, Asia’s newly crowned Number 1 restaurant, the group headed to Phuket’s quiet east coast and the stunning new design hotel Point Yamu by COMO, just 20 minutes from the airport.

Tranquil and romantic, Point Yamu by COMO is the first hotel designed by Italian superstar Paola Navone. Her interiors blend a Mediterranean white, blue and aqua colour scheme with bespoke Thai handcrafted fixtures and fittings. There are sea views from every guest room and public space, 10 suites with their own 10m plunge pool, Italian and Thai restaurants, a 100m swimming pool, private island beach club in Phang Nga Bay, and a luxurious two level COMO Shambhala Retreat.

The itinerary included visits to the beautiful Sino-Portuguese streets of Old Phuket Town, which inspired design elements of Point Yamu, and a Muay Thai Kickboxing lesson.
