AUSTRALIAN owned and operated destination specialist, The Beyond Travel Group, recently launched the ‘Support Sri Lanka’ initiative to stimulate the tourism industry in Sri Lanka. The company understands its biggest aid for this to be a success is through agents and the trade industry, so its offering all agents an incentive to encourage Australians back to this country that has seen an 80% decrease in international visitors.

Agents will receive 15% commission on all Sri Lanka tours and services featured on the dedication website (www.sri-lanka-and-beyond.com.au) and in the recently released 2020/21 brochure when booked by November 29, 2019.

As an additional bonus, for all bookings made on a ten day or longer package, there will be a $15 donation per person made to the Support Sri Lanka initiative.

All efforts re intended to support Sri Lanka and its local guides, drivers, families in the rebuilding of the tourism business for long-term sustainability as well as assisting those most effected with short term immediate monetary relief.

Clients can save up to $1000 per couple on various private tours  including the 10 day Classic Sri Lanka, now priced at  $1935 per person or the 12-day “Luxury Sri Lanka Escape” featuring outstanding properties in stunning locations such as the all-inclusive Leopard Trails in Yala National Park and the 1940’s colonial mansion- Stone House- in Kandy. Now priced from $5600 per person twin share, the tours is by private chauffer-guide and also includes wonderful local interactions and hospitality at luxury venues such as lunch at Elipitiya Walauwa heritage house and high tea at the elegant Grand Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
