AHS Holds Its First General Managers Global Conference

Bangkok-based international hotel management company Absolute Hotel Services recently held its first General Managers Global Conference at U Sathorn Bangkok, one of the latest properties to open under the group’s rapidly expanding portfolio.

AHS, responsible for the management of the U chain of deluxe bijoux hotels and resorts and the Eastin and Eastin Easy chain of hotels and residences encompassing all categories of accommodation has invited its General Managers to attend the 3-day conference with the aim of emphasizing on the brand promise and mission, updating on the company’s growth and business trends and to share the managers’ vision on the hospitality industry.

Since being founded in 2008 AHS has expanded to 61 properties currently operating and under development underthe U Hotels & Resorts brand  in Thailand, Vietnam, India and Indonesia with more than 3,800 rooms of which will all be in operation by 2015.  Eastin Grand Hotels, Eastin Hotels & Residences and Eastin Easy have 31 projects operating and under on-going development in Thailand, India, the Middle East and Vietnam totalling close to 3,200 rooms opening by 2017.

AHS targets adding new hotels in the Asian market with inroads into Korea and has just celebrated the opening of the flagship Eastin Grand Hotel Saigon which commenced operation in April. With its sights firmly set on a global network of AHS properties the latest announcement is the signing of group’s first European property, U Istanbul in Turkey.
