Air France Announces Partnership with Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon

AirfanceAir France and LA MARATHON LLC announced today a partnership that makes Air France the Official Airline of the 2016 Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon. The partnership further establishes the Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon as a must-run global marathon, while continuing Air France’s tradition of giving its passengers unique opportunities to fuel their passion for the sport. The race will also host an expo and post-race festival where Air France will have a presence and display unique aspects of the brand and culture.

“Running is the number one sport of our Air France-KLM frequent fliers, which is why we started Flying Blue Running,” said Marnix Fruitema, Air France-KLM’s Senior Vice President for North America.” Our collaboration with Skechers Performance Los Angeles Marathon allows us to celebrate our shared passion for fitness while also supporting runners in crossing finish lines in exciting destinations around the world.”

Air France in Los Angeles

Air France offers several daily flights from Los Angeles to Paris, with direct flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Charles de Gaulle lasting approximately 10 hours and 45 minutes. As of June 2015, Air France offers its new and improved long-haul cabins on the Los Angeles-Paris route as part of a $500 million investment in new services. The Business class seat, designed to feel like a cocoon in the sky, offers a fully flat seat bed for more privacy, new wider 16 inch HD screens, and noise-reducing headphones.
