Air India Joins Aeroplan as New Travel Partner

 Aeroplan today announced the addition of Air India to its roster of travel partners.  Starting today, Aeroplan Members can earn and redeem Aeroplan Miles for travel with Air India, bringing the total number of airline partners to 32.

“We’re excited to have Air India join the Aeroplan program,” said Kevin O’Brien, Chief Commercial Officer, Aeroplan.  “This addition will give our members greater choice when it comes to accumulation and redemption opportunities with Air India offering our members over 50 domestic and 31 global destinations through the Star Alliance network.”

Aeroplan Members will further benefit from a wider choice on routes connecting North AmericaEuropeAsia andAustralia via the Indian Subcontinent.

Air India, a Star Alliance member airline is the flag carrier airline of India owned by Air India Limited (AIL), a Government of India enterprise. It is the third largest airline in India and operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircrafts serving various domestic and international airports.
