Air Vanuatu, the national airline of Vanuatu, has advised it will be adjusting its sales commission structure. Effective 1 February 2019, standard commission for travel agents will be reduced from 7 per cent to 5 per cent on all international flights, while commission on all Vanuatu domestic flights (sold in isolation) will reduce from 5 per cent to 3 per cent. The changes will apply to all Air Vanuatu (NF-218) plated ticket stock for tickets issued in Australia. All fares are inclusive of fuel surcharges.
Air Vanuatu currently operates seven non-stop flights per week from Sydney to Port Vila, Vanuatu and four non-stop flights per week from Brisbane to Port Vila, Vanuatu. The airline also offers two non-stop flights per week from Brisbane to Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu – Vanuatu’s largest island. The airline operates a Business Class service on all flights to and from Australia.
